Working Committee List

Myanmar Chamber of Commerce for Pharmaceutical & Medical Device (MCCPMD) is operating with the leadership of following working committee members ;

1. Membership Affairs Committee

Objectives

1. To help improve interest of the members in accordance with the law
2. To collaborate and work together with other relevant committees in order to increase number of new members
3. To extend relevant branch offices in States and Regions
4. To collaborate and work together with Business Development Committee, Communication & PR Committee and International Relationship Committee to increase awareness on the benefits of membership

2. Domestic Relationship Committee

Objectives

1. To help settle, according to the law, the business obstacles and issues in collaboration with State and Regional Government or Central Union Government
2. To represent members grievance and inconveniences relating to the laws and the bylaws at the departmental level for redressal and corrective action
3. To collaborate with NGOs in finding solution and expressing to the authorities relating to the business obstacles and issues such as extra procedure delay, high costing, etc.

3. International Realtionship Committee

Objectives

1. To promote the image of the MCCPMD and to become an internationally- recognized association linking with international and external organizations
2. To create international business networking for members through collaboration with international trade and business organizations, arranging study visits, organizing exhibitions, talks and meetings
3. To find and keep inform to the members of international good practices, new trends and technologies
4. To find international support and collaboration on technologies, information and funds for the benefit of the members and institution

4. Mediation, Arbitration & Legal Affairs Committee

Objectives

1. To settle business disputes between the members and/or other local and foreign companies through hearing, verifying, discussing and legally advising the matter
2. To collaborate with government departments and offices for suitable remedial measures in the frame of the law and lawful procedures to reduce the business dispute
3. To collaborate and work together with Business Development Committee, Domestic Relationship Committee and Communication and PR Committee for education seminars, workshops and talks related to business laws, regulation and legal practices

5. Communication / PR Committee

Objectives

1. To keep inform of all the association’s activity to the members in prompt and immediate manner
2. To create awareness of the association’s aims and objectives and the benefits of membership through Digital and Social media
3. To collaborate and work together with Domestic Relationship Committee, International Relationship Committee and Business Development Committee relating to communication and PR affairs

6. Business Development Committee

Objectives

1. To conduct workshops, seminars, conferences and trainings with a view to bring together the fellow members and the pharmaceutical business industry members for continuous business development and technologies
2. To collaborate and work together with both internal and external organizations and governmental departments finding solutions through dissemination and discussion on issues relating to common interest of the members such as taxation, labour issues & legislation, import & export, etc.
3. To collaborate and work together with Domestic Relationship Committee, Communication and PR Committee, and International Relationship Committee to bring benefit to the fellow members
